You cho cho choooose me!

Friends and Family I have been a lame poster lately.  Sometimes we are just so busy having fun and takin' care of bidness that all the things I mean to post about slip away from me.  What can I say life is wonderful!  I am just so grateful to be where I am in life doing what I am doing!

Anyway, last weekend Aaron and I went on a Murder Mystery date and luckily we are both still alive.  The Heber Creeper (which is a train for all those of you who don't know) runs this really cool dinner and murder mystery play while the train is traveling through the canyon.  The play starts while you are in the train depot.  That was when the first murder occurred.  Then after you board the train the actors keep walking through the different cars giving more clues and pieces of the story.

It was a lot of fun...Aaron and I had no idea who whacked who so I guess we'll give up the dream to become super sleuths!  We will have to move on to our next dream career...Olympic Gold Medal Swimmers.  Aaron and I both want to be the next Michael Phelps.  Neither of us can swim so we have a long way to go.  It might be a little easier for Aaron than me.. at least he'd look better in the swim trunks anyway!
Here we are on the train!

p.s. If you can reference where the title for my latest post came from you will earn my deepest and most sincere respect!

Just around the corner....

I woke up this morning and as I changed the page on our calander from October to November I could feel it.  Did you feel it too?  I could almost smell it in the air when I walked out to my car this morning.  There was snow on the mountian tops and a chill in the air that reminded me that the fact that I still wear sandals is slightly idiotic.

I've suffered through all the boring months of the year and now it's almost here!!!  DECEMBER!!! It's almost DECEMBER people.  Yes, I know it's only November 3rd.  But making it through November means nothing when Christmas is just right around the corner.  I love this time of year!  I love the snow, the music, the decorating, and the REAL Christmas tree my husband lets me buy (like he really had a choice).  I love the cookies, Sarah's homemade egg nog, and seeing all the family.  It just doesn't get any better than this.  And most of all I love being overtaken my the spirit of the season.  It's at this time of year more than any other I remember why its so great being an employee of the public schools system.  SUPER LONG CHRISTMAS BREAK BABY!!!

Just in case you needed reminding!  Get excited Christmas is right around the corner.
